Professionalism and commitment in the real estate sector have been proved by the bilateral agreement that the president of CEDU, Raúl Sáenz Valiente, and the president of APPCU, Ariel Cagnoli, have signed. Such agreement will result in important benefits to both institutions.
J. P. Urruti launches Costa V, the second stage of the master plan of the mega project Costa Esmeralda.
On September 6th, Costa V will be launched. This development is located in Route 11, Km 380, in a beach area next to Pinamar. This part of the project offers 175 plots of land of approximately 970 sq m. each one. That same day, the 40 plots that are still available in the II sports area will be subscribed at 8 in the offices of J. P. Urruti (3028 Von Wernicke Street, San Isidro)
The most important local Real Estate market exhibition, taken place since 2005, will be held from November 9th to 11th in the yellow pavilion of La Rural Exhibition Center. It is organized by La Nación Newspaper.

On August 20th, the Architect Raúl Sáenz Valiente, CEDU president and CREAURBAN director, at mid-morning opened the lecture "Successful real estate developments in the current market. Leaders’ opinions." He pointed out some market concerns, such as plots prices, mortgage loans, developments financing, market trends, major real estate projects development. He highlighted that before starting building a new project, it must be "considered if such development would be a profitable one or not taking into account the current market situation." The debate on this topic was chaired by Herman Faigenbaum, Cushman & Wakefield CEO in Argentina.

The Housing Prototypes Draft Projects National Contest is launched in the province taking into account its geographical diversity and with the aim to guarantee the high quality of social housing built by the Provincial Institute of Housing and Urban Development of the Province of Neuquén - Sustainable Urban Development Agency of the Province of Neuquén (IPVU- ADUS).

CasaE (The BASF House) is a sustainable housing prototype that can save up to 70% of energy consumption as it has been built with materials and technologies to cause a low environmental impact. It is located in Greater Buenos Aires, in Tortuguitas Town. This new project seeks to promote sustainable construction. This building represents an experimental model that will be used to test new technologies, thus becoming a space where architects, builders and clients would be able to develop eco-friendly devices.
In order to promote and train about sustainable construction in Argentina, CEDU has developed a new area called Environmental Commitment, through which it introduces practices related to the protection and care of the environment..
CEDU has developed a Corporate Social Responsibility Program in order to work towards a solution to the lack of habitability in schools and to provide accessibility to educational training programs. Through the commitment to ethical values and the Community, the Argentine Chamber of Urban Developers intends to run charity programs and activities.
